this and that

as you can see, little progress has been made on the Jamaica tank top since my last post. i have been super busy getting things going with my new project (i promise to fill you in on the details in a couple of days). i'm teaching 3 classes this summer. i'm back in the jewelry studio after a month's hiatus. i'm busy shopping for my 2nd secret pal package. this pal is pretty easy to shop for, but i'm such a perfectionist. everything has to be just right. whew! pretty crazy, but all very exciting. i broke down and ordered one of these. Jackie bought one a while back and gave it such rave reviews that it stuck in my mind. i ordered it in the early AM on friday and received an email less than 2 hours later telling me that it would ship fedex the same day. what service! i can't wait to try it out!

i am looking forward to filling you in on my new adventure. i hope everyone's having a great summer (or fall, to girls down under). it's been hot as hell here. hope it's cooler where you are! happy knitting!

you want cooler?? so when are you coming for a visit? bring your winter woolies though!

Thanks for thinking of us down here- indeed it is pretty chilly here, so (as Jac pointed out) winter woollies are in big demand.
Love the spring colours your knitting with. Sounds like you're keeping very busy!

dear shobhana,

Those colors are so vibrant! It would be a great pick-me-up wear!
